Welcome to BlasterHacks 2026, presented by the Colorado School of Mines ACM Student Chapter. Our hackathons provide a space to get exposed to new technologies and have a good time hanging out.
For 48 hours, participants compete to build projects in a collaborative and competitive environment revolving around the track that they pick. BlasterHacks is your opportunity to bring your unique ideas to fruition with your team of choice.

Requirements
What to Build
Build anything you want! You'll have to submit to exactly one of three tracks, each of which have their own prizes:
- General – Anything that doesn't fit in the other tracks.
- UI/UX – Visually appealling projects with a focus on user interface and user experience.
- Game Dev, co-hosted by the Mines Game Dev Club – This track is for games, centered around the (intentionally open) theme of the command line. To submit to this track, you'll have to read the additional rules in the Hackerpack.
What to Submit
Fill out the description of your project, along with a picture/screenshot or two. To be considered for prizes, you must submit a link to GitHub (or another source control forge).
